Where Are You Seeing Them?
Ant problems can look different. Tell us what you’re facing so we can point you in the right direction.
Ants Inside My Home
They’re trailing through the kitchen, bathroom, windows, or another indoor area.
Fire Ants in My Yard
I’m dealing with mounds outside or want season-long yard protection.
The Bigger Picture
The Ants You See Aren’t the Whole Problem.
What looks like a few ants in your kitchen is usually just the tip of the iceberg. Our goal is to find the trail, identify where they’re entering, and reach the colony behind the activity.
1
What You See
A handful of ants walking across the counter.
2
The Trail & Entry Point
We trace the trail to find where they’re coming in.
3
The Colony
Our treatments are designed to reach the colony, not just the ants you can see.

Killing workers is easy.
Reaching the colony is what solves the problem.
Find the Trail. Intercept It. Reach the Colony.
Our ant control process is built around how ants actually behave — not just spraying and hoping for the best.
01
Find the Trail
We inspect where ants are traveling, how they’re entering, and what they’re being attracted to.
02
Intercept the Activity
We treat the right combination of interior and exterior areas based on the activity we find.
03
Reach the Colony
Non-repellent treatments and strategic baiting help the treatment move through the colony.
We find the source.
Bait Inside Can Reinforce the Trail
Placing bait inside can continue rewarding the route ants are already using and may encourage more traffic deeper into the home.
Where You Put the Bait Matters.
We prefer to intercept ant trails outside whenever possible. Foraging ants pick up the bait and carry it back toward the colony — without encouraging more ants to travel deeper into your home.
Bait Outside Helps Stop the Colony
Exterior baiting allows ants to take treatment back to the colony while helping reduce indoor traffic.
Not Every Ant Problem Is the Same.
You don’t need to know what kind of ant it is — that’s our job.
Household Ants
Argentine ants, odorous house ants, and other common indoor invaders. We focus on trails, entry points, food sources, and colony control.
Fire Ants
A yard problem that requires a different approach. We offer individual mound treatment or season-long fire ant protection.
Carpenter Ants
Larger ants may require a more detailed inspection, including wall voids, moisture conditions, crawlspaces, or nesting areas.
Season-Long Fire Ant Protection
Enjoy your yard without the constant battle. Our season-long fire ant treatment is designed to provide lasting control, with touch-up service if activity reappears during the covered season.
- Whole-yard treatment
- Helps prevent new mounds

What Homeowners Say
About Our Ant Control
Why do ants keep coming back?
Because the ants you see are only workers. The colony keeps sending more until the source is addressed. Pestora starts by finding where ants are trailing, entering, and what is attracting them, then uses treatments designed to reach the colony rather than just the visible ants.
Should I spray ants before Pestora arrives?
Please don’t if you can avoid it. An active trail helps us see where ants are coming from during the inspection. You don’t need to prepare much — just let us know where you’re seeing them.
How long does ant treatment take to work?
Activity often starts dropping within a few days. Some ant activity may remain visible for several days while the treatment works its way through the colony, so give it time before spraying over it.
Do you treat fire ants?
Yes. We offer individual mound treatment and season-long whole-yard fire ant protection, depending on what your yard needs.
What if the ants come back?
Standalone ant treatments are backed by a 60-day warranty: if covered ant activity returns within 60 days, contact us and we’ll return at no additional treatment charge. Pest Protection Plan customers have ongoing covered callbacks between scheduled services.
Do I need to know what type of ant I have?
No. Identifying the ant is our job. Household ants, fire ants, and carpenter ants each get a different approach, and we’ll figure out which one you’re dealing with.
Do you treat carpenter ants?
Yes. Carpenter ants may require a more detailed inspection and treatment, including wall voids, moisture-damaged wood, crawlspaces, or other nesting areas.
Do you offer season-long fire ant protection?
Yes. Season-long treatment covers the whole yard and includes touch-up treatment if activity returns during the covered period. Pricing depends on property size, so request a fire ant quote.
